Acccommodation spacious and comfortable; great to have Italian beds that don't sink in the middle. Landlord very obliging. Much appreciated to find a few essentials like water and bread there already - shops closed for two days upon arrival, it being Easter.And thanks too for the DVD player which kept our three-year-old amused after mealtimes.

Our trip to Palermo was extremely difficult because of long delays, lost luggage and a miserable cold. We arrived at the apartment many hours later than expected and the owner, Manlio Lanza was waiting and made us feel comfortable within minutes. He explained all the features of the apartment despite the late hour and made us feel welcome immediately. As neither my wife nor I spoke Italian, Manlio Lanza made many telephone calls on our behalf which assisted us in recovering our luggage within a reasonable time and he did everything possible to make our stay pleasurable. The apartment was furnished in expensive and tasteful antiques and was a delight to return to after long days spent touring and dealing with business negotiations. A free telephone and computer connection were provided. This large and comfortable apartment is situated in a very convenient part of Palermo and provided easy access to sights and travel within Palermo and throughout Sicily. In 20 years of international travel I can honestly say that this rental accommodation was the best we've ever experienced.
